ABOUT CAMP

If you love the outdoors and a little extra adventure then join us this summer for Cosby Expeditions! We are planning week long off-site trips in the region. For ages 12-15 boys and girls. Join our new Cosby Expedition Trip guy Elliot Kasprzak for a safe and exciting summer. Experience new things such as, surfing, zipline tour, hiking, canoeing, climbing, caving, whitewater rafting, sea kayaking and much more. Our staff are highly trained and skilled and are First Aid/CPR, Lifeguard and WFR certified with many years of experience. Spend the week with 6-8 other children camping and traveling the region to fun and adventurous locations and have unique summer experiences.

Here at Camp Cosby, our experienced staff offers a unique opportunity for participants to explore relationships in nature and form their own opinions about the world around them. Classes and activities are geared towards hands-on, interactive learning that develops problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

With such a diversity of classes, this program offers a complete outdoor education experience to satisfy the needs of each school. Programs are available as early as August and as late as mid-May each school year. Our “staple” program here at Camp Cosby is a three-day experience which includes two nights of lodging, six meals, approximately 12 hours of outdoor instruction, and two evening programs.

Camp Cosby’s professional and diverse Outdoor Environmental Education staff is recruited from locations all over theUnited   Statesand other countries. We hire top-notch educators who have proven dedication to teaching students in a safe, supportive and FUN environment! Staff participates in a 2- week Staff Orientation and training to prepare them for the upcoming season of outdoor education with students.
