ABOUT CAMP
No two sessions are the same at Camp Wabasso when you take the lead. Aspiring actresses, writers and directors take center stage in our theater programs. Showcase an original production while perfecting your performance, costume creation and writing skills. Or saddle up at our fully equipped stable and explore our horseback riding trails with lessons tailored for beginning to advanced riders. First time at camp? Try a mini or one-week session. Want to explore the world beyond camp? Set a course for adventure on our trip and travel destinations (grades 9-12). And no matter which program you choose, you’ll enjoy traditional camp activities like swimming, boating, woodworking, campfires and more.

Camping is a great way for girls to explore leadership, build skills and develop a deep appreciation for nature. Whether you go for a day, week, or longer, Girl Scout camp gives you an opportunity to grow, explore and have fun under the guidance of caring, trained adults. Every girl deserves a chance to camp!

Camp Wabasso offers girls the opportunity to learn about themselves and grow in a natural environment where girls come first. The staff comes from all over the world and is committed to developing fun, creative and safe programs that challenge each girl in a supportive atmosphere. Whether she is build her first fire, trotting on a horse for the first time or whitewater rafting, a girl can increase her leadership skills and have a voice in program content so that no two sessions are alike. While Camp Wabasso specializes in riding and theater programs, it provides programs of interest to every girl. The camp offers a fully equipped riding stable that includes horses, tack and expert instructors. Girls can enjoy a complete riding program without leaving the safety of our 200-acre site's miles of horseback riding trails. Girls who elect to participate in the theater program prepare an original production while improving their performance, costume creation and writing skills. Girls can also learn woodworking in our studio. No matter which program a girl pursues, she can participate in swimming boating, campfires, games and crafts, and develop friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
