Homeschool Family Camp

We are pleased to offer Pines’ first Homeschool Family Camp. Come join us for the family fun you’ve come to expect from a Pines Family Camp with added morning educational sessions to choose from for all ages.  Topics include: states of matter, mind bending math puzzles, photography, and art, just to name a few. Terri Elwood will be speaking at our main sessions. She is coming with 12 years’ experience as a homeschooling parent and now works in Kelowna at Venture Academy as a parent consultant. Terri and her husband Bruce are the proud parents of two grown children.

ACTIVITIES

School Program

The Pines School Program is a place where school’s can participate in a number of outdoor education activities which support and fulfill learning outcomes prescribed in the BC Curriculum.

We are open for groups to come for just a day or longer. We would also like to promote our Group and Team Building days for both Spring and in September. This would be ideal for classes starting out new to help build class unity, or as a great year-end event. Overnight field trips are always a great way for a teacher to get to know their class. We can accommodate groups of 10 to 100 students from kindergarten to Grade 12. Our program staff will provide the way for a teacher to get to know their class. Our program staff will provide the schedule and run activities, you just need to pack them up and get them here.
