Camp Timberlane is a camp for boys located in Wisconsin's North Woods, just north of Minocqua,WI. 2015 is our 54th summer of camping fun and friendship. Each year 160 boys from over 30 cities across the US join us for 4 or 8 weeks of wholesome, outdoor fun in a genuinely non-competitive environment.

It's hard to go wrong in the north woods! We have over 300 wooded acres and 2000 feet of shoreline on a gorgeous, isolated lake. We live in cabins that overlook the lake and have electricity, toilet, and shower facilities in each one. In spite of these "amenities", camp is a very rustic setting, true to the feel of our natural environment. Besides us, camp is home to deer, fox, squirrels and chipmunks, bald eagles, and a myriad of other wildlife.

We're at the front of camp now, but there's so much more to Timberlane. 

Although our activities are structured individually, allowing you to get to know most of the camp community very well, the cabin group is at the heart of the camp experience. Each cabin group has an average of 10 boys, and either 3 or 4 counselors. The counselors have their own room, but under the same cabin roof.

We have 15 cabins, most of which overlook our beautiful lake. They have electricity, and windows with glass and screens. A bathroom in each cabin has showers, sinks, and a toilet. It sounds luxurious, but you can rest assured that it is very "campy." There is something to be said for the convenience of bathrooms in the cabins, especially for those late night calls from nature.
