ABOUT CAMP
Camp All-Star, Maine is privileged to utilize the superior housing, dining and athletic facilities at the distinguished Kents Hill School in Kents Hill, Maine, a coeducational college preparatory school for students in grades nine through twelve and postgraduate. The 600-acre campus is on the summit of a high, rolling hill that overlooks the scenic valleys and lakes of the Belgrade Lakes region.

ACA Accreditation（ACA认证）
American Camp Association (ACA) accreditation is the best evidence parents have of a camp’s commitment to a safe and nurturing environment for their children. An accredited camp has complied with up to 300 health, program quality, and safety standards. Since ACA accreditation is voluntary, parents know the camp is committed to best practices. Currently, only 15% of all camps are accredited

WHY SPORTS CAMP?
An estimated 40 million American children participate in organized sports today. Research shows that kids who participate in sports do better academically and are less likely to experiment with drugs. At Camp All-Star, each day is filled with activities that support strong, fit bodies and a healthy lifestyle.

Building Confidence
Kids enjoy participating in activities they are good at. We determine what each camper is "great" at and then help him or her capitalize on that skill. However, we also encourage campers to participate in new activities so that they can enjoy a wide variety of sports and develop new skills. Setting goals and overcoming athletic challenges builds self-esteem. Our sports camp teams do compete with other camps in the area in a wide variety of sports. While we are competitive, our win/loss record is not the determining factor in judging the success of our summer. We play to win, but consider the game a success if we played our best, have been good sports and have had a great time.

A Structured Experience
Camp All-Star is not a "hang-around" camp. This sports camp is an extremely busy and dynamic program with a strong emphasis on instruction and participation. Our program places an emphasis on high-quality skill development. We group kids by ability so that the sports and activities are appropriate to each group. Sports and athletic activities are an excellent way to make friends. Children like meeting peers who share their interests. And, there's a special bonding that occurs among teammates. Camp buddies often turn into life-long friends.
