ABOUT CAMP
We believe going to summer camp is a right of passage for every child and that’s why we make sure ours is extra special. Held at safari-style tented camps in the middle of the most magical woodlands, Camp Wilderness offers exciting back-to-nature experiences for children aged 7 to 14. Held at camp locations around the country, we run 2-day, 3-day and 5-day camps, all of which are fully residential.
Days at camp are spent participating in a host of exciting activities, from traditional fire-lighting and shelter-building, to archery and wild swimming. And with evenings spent enjoying big bushtucker feasts, playing football and rounders in the fields, and roasting marshmallows over the campfire, Camp Wilderness is the perfect place to make great friends and long-lasting memories.

Camp Wilderness is run by The Bushcraft Company - the experts in outdoor education for school children. Inspired by the traditional bushcraft skills he learnt from a young age, and his own experiences across the world, Alex McBarnet founded The Bushcraft Company and Camp Wilderness to give other children the opportunity to experience real outdoor adventures.As a leading provider of outdoor education within the UK, The Bushcraft Company's Camp Wilderness has extremely high standards of pastoral care, health and safety, and activity provision.
Running throughout the school summer holidays, Camp Wilderness runs 2-day, 3-day, 5-day and Advanced summer camps from outdoor camps in Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Kent. With an abuundance of exciting activities on offer at each camp, you can choose the location and length that suits you and your children. You can also make group bookings for friends who would like to attend summer camp together, or for celebrations such as birthdays.

We run all-inclusive, residential summer camps throughout the summer holidays, for children aged 7 to 14. With the option of 2-day 3-day, 5-day or Advanced summer camps, Camp Wilderness has something for everyone.
