ABOUT CAMP
BCH’s program builds upon the opportunities presented by the wonder of God’s creation found in nature and the camper’s distance from the distractions of everyday life. Based on a “small group approach”, BCH is a place where all campers feel accepted, loved and are able to develop authentic friendships. Counselors work closely with campers to support them in their formation of faith and personal journeys. Campers learn important life lessons and gain new perspectives as they live and play in a community centered on Christian beliefs and values.

Traditional Summer Camp Programs
EXPLORER (Entering 4th – 7th grades) $600/week Explorers are able to delve into every aspect of what BCH offers and sample a wide variety of meaning-ful activities. Mornings are spent building skills: swim lessons, soccer, canoeing, drama, cooking, dance, nature and arts & crafts are a few of the most popular skill areas that Explorers may choose as a focus. Afternoon activities change every day. Offer-ings include free swim, yoga, song writing, canoe dodge ball, hiking, painting, climbing wall, archery, ga-ga and more. Explorer campers participate daily in morning and evening worship and small group Bible studies. Through songs, games, reading and discussion counselors enthusiastically help facilitate camper’s growth in their personal faith journeys.
CHALLENGE (Entering 8th & 9th grades) $600/week Challenge Camp follows a similar model to Explorer Camp, however, Challenge is geared towards young teens. More options for morning programs and afternoon choice activities and separate evening programs are some of the ways in which Challenge is a more advanced form of Explorer Camp. Challenge is an excellent option for teens that thrive in the traditional structure of BCH camp.

探险家活动（进入4-7年级的学生）$600每星期 营地提供各式各样有意义的活动，营者能够深入研究各方面。早上学习的基本技能:游泳、足球、皮划艇、戏剧、烹饪、舞蹈、自然和工艺品，这些都是一些最受欢迎的技能，营者可以选择作为一个关注点。下午活动每天都在变化。包括免费游泳,瑜伽,写歌,独木舟,躲避球、徒步旅行、绘画、攀岩墙、射箭和其它项目。参加“探险家”活动的营者每日早晚做礼拜和诵读圣经。通过歌曲、游戏、阅读和讨论，辅导员会热情地提供帮助，在旅程促进营者他们的个人信仰。
“挑战营”（进入8和9年级的学生）$600每星期 “挑战营”类似于“探险家”活动,然而,挑战营是面向年轻的青少年。更多选项在早上的项目，下午晚上的活动是“探险家”活动的更高级。挑战营是青少年的一个很好的选择,而且是在巴巴拉哈里斯营的传统项目。
