ABOUT CAMP

Camp Ehawee (pronounced e-how-e) is home to a swimming pool, archery range and athletic fields including sand volleyball and paved basketball court. Ehawee campers canoe on the slough, a tributary to the Black River and creek hop at Crystal Creek. There are nature trails for exploring and the amphitheater where there are campfires. Camp also features a performing arts center complete with a stage and the indoor nature center. Meals are eaten in beautiful Hope Lodge.

Camp Ehawee allows young Girl Scouts to make new friends and build a lifelong love of the camping experience.

CAMP NIBBLER

Get a ‘taste’ of Girl Scout resident camp. This overnight adventure is for first-time campers who want to try one night away from home and experience camp. Explore Camp Ehawee, make a take-home craft and sing songs around the campfire. Make new friends with your bunk mates and camp counselors and take a bite out of your first summer camp adventure!

Grades 1-3

ARTSY GIRL

Are you a girl who loves to create? Come to this overnighter at Camp Ehawee to paint, draw, craft and sculpt till your fingers turn blue from all the paint, markers and clay! Make a friendship bracelet to give to one of your new friends. Gather around the campfire at night to sing songs and make s’mores.

KRITTER KRAZY

Camp’s gone wild! Let’s tramp through the creeks, hills and trees to find all the critters who call Camp Ehawee home. We’ll do animal-themed crafts, games and activities and our friends from the Humane Society usually swing by this week with some of their favorite furry creatures too!

Grades 1-33

FIREFLIES

Just as the fireflies start twinkling in the night, we’ll head out to join them. Stay up late to stargaze, play flashlight tag, tell stories and play games in your cabin. See what else happens when lightning bugs guide your way through camp!
