ABOUT CAMP
Camp Joy provides unique hands-on programs to a wide variety of clients. We offer summer programming for youth in foster care, campers from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, youth with medical conditions and families. Joy also provides school programming that meets Ohio Common Core standards and gives students the chance to get their hands dirty through experiential education. For the "big kids" we provide custom-tailored leadership programming to businesses, non-profits, colleges and high-schools.

Observatory finds home at Camp Joy
Camp Joy and Warren County Astronomical Society (WCAS) will partner to provide a unique opportunity to campers and the Warren County community. This opportunity is made possible by the donation of a telescope by Jeff Blazey, an amateur astronomer, funds raised by the WCAS to build the observatory, and the use of Camp Joy's land, that is suitable for viewing the night sky because of low levels of light pollution. The Observatory, set to break ground this summer, will bring new experiences to the guests that attend Camp Joy and serve as a way for the Warren County community to explore the night sky.
