格伦布鲁克的使命是培育个人责任感——包括对个人生活、身边的人与事物、自然环境乃至全世界的责任感。我们所有活动的都坚持三个核心信念——相信每个人都需要通过日常活动与他人、与世界交流沟通；相信社会中重要的问题需要利用创造性与艺术性的方法去解决；永远对身边的一切事物保持同理心与责任心。
Glen Brook’s mission is to nurture a sense of personal responsibility for the world around us – our personal living spaces, our towns and cities, and the natural environment as a whole. At the core of all our activities is a belief in the inherent need in the human spirit to connect with one another and the natural world through work and play; to work creatively for both artistic pleasure and to solve problems of social importance; and to project a sense of compassion and responsibility toward all living things.

Glen Brook’s diverse programs encourage this mission in numerous ways:
through arts and music; through outdoor adventure and exploration; and through the daily care of a small farm in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire. Our programs strive for the care of our resources in ways both large and small: the health of our forests, fields, and waters are as important as the orderliness of our broom closets; the respect we afford one another is as vital as the wholesomeness of the food we eat. In all that we do, we aim to leave the world a little better than the way we found it.

ABOUT CAMP

Camp Glen Brook is a gem. We have been weaving Waldorf education together with traditional New England camping since 1946, creating an on-going community that values creativity, compassion and stewardship.

This is a place where childern and adults can step out of the busyness of their everyday schedules and settle into the rhythms and joys of nature. It is a place to be refreshed by the clear mountain air and cool lake water. A place to play in verdant meadows, hike along magical forest paths or simply sit on the hill and gaze upon the majesty of Mount Monadnock. A place to sing around the campfire with new and old friends under the bright evening stars. Camp Glen Brook is a place where your body, mind and spirit can be renewed.
营地活动
Camp Programs & Activities
格伦布鲁克营地8和16岁之间的儿童提供夏令营活动。2-3周的夏令营适合所有年龄段的营员参加。此外，我们有7、10和14天的小课程提供给8-9岁的年轻营员。

Camp Glen Brook runs a coed Waldorf-based summer camp for children between the ages of 8 and 16. The camp is open to the public. Our summer camp consists of two three-week sessions for all ages. In addition, we have 7, 10 and 14 day sessions for our youngest campers (3rd and 4th graders).
Summer camp (for campers completing 9th & 10th grade) includes outdoor exploration and games; music programs; woodshop and numerous sports. Campers live in groups of 6-8 with counselors in one of the farmhouses or a cabin. All quarters have bathrooms with hot showers.
The Falcon Program (ages 15 to 16) trains young people in self-reliance and leadership skills through a combination of stewardship activities and a wilderness trip program.

冬令营 Winter Camp (overnight):
冬令营课程将于每天2月中旬举行，冬令营项目可供8-16岁的营员选择。冬令营的活动同样的丰富多彩，我们会在池塘上滑冰，雪橇滑雪，越野滑雪，造雪堡垒，原野烹饪和照料农场动物。晚上活动包括唱歌、表演和游戏等。
program for 3rd through 8th graders. The week will be patterned after our summer program with two morning and afternoon activity blocks. We will skate on the pond, sled down the hill, cross-country ski, build snow forts, bake and cook, and care for the farm animals. In the evenings we will gaze at the stars and gather before the wood stove in the living room for quiet activities, including singing, skits, and games.
