Resort Facilities
Solar Heated Swimming Pool
We offer excellent facilities to many different groups including schools, youth groups, church groups and families.
The experienced staff and management of Coonawarra Farm Resort are of very high standard and pride themselves on ensuring your stay is a wonderful experience.
Each site offers flat open lawn areas and a number of outdoor facilities including a 2.6 ha lake for canoeing and raft-making.
Iguana Creek offers 24 centrally heated rooms along with 4 self-contained cabins, BBQ area, small recreation room, large dining hall and a Conference room equipped with a PA system and big screen projection TV.
The community toilet blocks have lots of hot water to service the 16 showers, and the laundry and drying rooms are close by. A kitchen to suit all cooking needs with two ovens, large fridge, freezer and automatic dishwasher.
The dining room can seat up to 250 people and includes a television, DVD, sound system and wood heater.
In our covered BBQ area we have picnic tables and table tennis facilities. The sports store contains paddles and life jackets for canoeing.

Specialised activities are archery, campfire cooking, canoeing, giant games, bush walking, flying foxes, hut building, horse riding (extra cost), initiative activities, raft making, ropes courses, swimming pools, team rescue and the giant swing.

Accommodation
Coonawarra Farm Resort is a family owned resort situated in a tranquil bush setting along the Iguana creek adjacent to the Mitchell River National Park.
Our fully accredited campsite offers accommodation for up to 300 people over two incredible sites - Lakeside and Iguana Creek. These sites are totally independent from each other with their own facilities and activities.
Lakeside Resort
The Lakeside Resort offers 14 centrally heated rooms, of which 11 are ensuited, along with a large dining room, BBQ area and recreation room equipped with PA system and big screen projection TV.
This complex is ideally located overlooking our five acre lake with a large lawned area.
Eleven of these rooms are en-suited for extra comfort and have a double bed and three sets of double bunks with television points in all rooms.
Each Bed has one pillow and one blanket BUT NO LINEN
Three rooms have four sets of double bunks (no en-suites).
Iguana Creek - Self Contained Cabins
Iguana Creek offers 24 centrally heated rooms along with 4 self-contained cabins, BBQ area, recreation room, large dining hall and a Conference room equipped with a PA system and big screen projection TV.
