Work at Camp
A summer camp job is a great way to positively impact the lives of today’s youth, spend lots of time outside, and meet new people. As you begin the application process, there are a few things you should know. Working at camp is a full-time summer commitment. Nicolet’s minimum contract period is for 9.5 weeks, beginning early June and ending mid-August. All staff work six days each week, and take one 24-hour period off. The minimum age to be a Junior Counselor is 18 with high school graduation. Full Staff are hired at age 19+, having completed one year of college.
When work at camp, you’re coming to enrich campers’ lives. Staff work together as a team to provide a safe, fun, and educational camp experience. Days are long, but at the end of the summer you’ll realize the positive contributions and impact you made. Creativity, a good sense of humor, maturity, and willingness to work are a must! We hope you’ll consider being part of the team – and our summer family!
