Pali Adventures is a traditional yet unique camp experience for kids and teens ages 8-16. At Pali, campers design their own summer camp adventure. They’ll select one of 21 cutting-edgespecialties as their morning focus, and then each afternoon they’ll choose from more than 70electives offered for summer 2015.

WHY PALI?
At Pali, we believe in the power and lifelong benefits of traditional, sleep away summer camps. Pali Adventures is proud to be a member of the Western Association of Independent Camps and a fully accredited summer camp program with the American Camp Association, meeting over 250 standards for health and safety, staffing, training, and transportation.

FOR 2015 SUMMER CAMP
A specialty summer camp develops a child’s specific interests and dreams, or improves their skills in one area. Pali Adventures is a unique specialty camp in that we offer not one, but 21 cutting-edge, exciting options! Specialty programs are run in the morning, so that in the afternoon campers can have their pick of ALL the fantastic electives we offer, and can try out the best of any other specialty or activity that interests them! Campers benefit from a well-rounded summer camp experience, far beyond what either a specialty camp or traditional camp could individually offer.
Our 21 specialties fall into 4 broad categories – Action, Performing, Creative, and Leadership. There is something for absolutely everyone – which specialty suits you best? No matter what you choose, Pali Adventures will deliver an epic summer camp experience!
Whether flashing through the sky on a 227-foot zip line, performing a stunt fall from a 28-foot high tower, racing mini-bikes on our custom-built tracks, flipping through the air from a trapeze or gracefully gliding across the cool waters of Big Bear Lake, Pali Adventures Action Camps will make your head spin and heart pound with nonstop excitement!
Extreme Action Camp - Whether on water, land or high up in the sky, there is no shortage of extreme adventure at this camp!
Flying Trapeze Camp and Aerial Arts Camp - Fly on the trapeze and learn other aerial arts such as lyra and aerial ribbon. Soar and swing through the sun-drenched skies!
Fantasy LARP Camp Live Action Role Playing meets Dungeons and Dragons in this fantasy adventure!

Wacky Science Camp - You’ll experiment with chemical reactions, explore the science behind explosions, and learn some of the basics of physics and states of matter—all while having an absolute blast!
Lights, camera, action! Pali Adventures offers a glimpse into the real worlds of professional acting, dancing, music, DJ-ing, magic and broadcast journalism through its Performing Camps. Perfect your craft through practice and, of course, performance! Grace the eyes and ears of your fellow campers with your newfound skills!
Acting Camp - Hone your acting skills to become your generation’s next famous actor or actress!
Broadcast Journalism Camp - Report, write, direct and produce the stories of the day at Pali’s very own news station, KPAL!
Dance Camp - Get into the groove! Choreograph and perform your very own jazz, ballet, hip-hop and free form moves!
DJ Camp - Scratch, beat match and bring the Pali house down with your live DJ set at our weekly dance!
Magic Camp - Get ready to entertain and amaze your friends and family as you learn how to perform magic tricks!
Rockstar Camp - Savor rock stardom by songwriting, playing, singing and performing your newest hits or favorite songs!
Transition from camper to counselor and learn what it takes to be a strong, effective leader at Pali and beyond! Pali Adventures’ Counselor in Training and Leadership Camp helps our fifteen and sixteen-year-old campers to cultivate crucial life and leadership skills through a wide range of activities, workshops and training, all with one common denominator — fun!

After an incredible morning spent enjoying one of our 21 fantastic specialties, campers design their own afternoon adventure! Every day offers the chance to participate in 3 new and different activities, chosen by the campers themselves from over 70 options. This is an opportunity for ALL campers to try out ALL of the amazing programs and facilities Pali Adventures has to offer, whether or not those activities are a part of the camper’s chosen morning specialty! Driving ATV Quads, Ziplines, Paintball, Bungee Trampoline – campers can try everything. There are NEVER any extra fees.
The choices are endless – the fun inevitable!
Our list of electives is constantly evolving, based on camper demand and any additional skills our counselors have to offer. The above list is only a sampling of the amazing variety we have to offer during any given week! How it Works:
At breakfast each day campers select their activities using iPod Touches. Once a camper selects their classes for that afternoon they are automatically put on an attendance roster. Our counselors are there to help the campers, if needed, in making their selections. Many campers choose to sign up for the same activities with their new friends. If campers change their minds, they are given the chance to switch activities at lunchtime if space allows. This electronic system also allows us as a camp staff to have records of every activity each camper chooses to participate in, and to be aware of where every camper is at any given time (100% supervision). NO WAITING LISTS!
If a camper selects archery for their first elective period, but it is already full due to safety regulations, the camper can automatically put themselves into the next available class. The camper will then select an alternate activity from the many others offered for their first period. If your camper isn’t getting their favorite activities, they aren’t at Pali!
As a camp we have the ability to tailor the availability of classes based upon the specific interests of the campers in any given week. We are flexible and can instantly add more sessions of the most popular electives, giving the campers more chances to participate in their favorites.
