Camp Sealth would be happy to host your next event or retreat here on Vashon Island, Washington! Come and enjoy our scheduled getaway location, surrounded by 400 acres of forest and wetlands on one and a half miles of private beach along the Puget Sound. We are a short ferry ride away from both Seattle and Tacoma on the beautiful Vashon Island. We primarily serve other non-profit organizations such as church groups, schools, dance groups or community organizations as well as other Camp Fire youth and adult groups in one day or multi-day events and retreats. On a case-by-case basis we can also work with for-profit organizations or individuals that can provide a general liability insurance certificate.
Bring your next conference or meeting to Camp Sealth! We have several rooms and buildings throughout our property that can meet a variety of conference or meeting needs, from a small group atmosphere to a large seated conference. Past groups have gathered for meditation retreats, dance classes, outdoor education, corporate team building retreats, religious services, craft workshops, lectures and more. Enjoy views of the water in our Outdoor Amphitheater beside the Puget Sound, or gather together in a forest setting with views of the water and mountains.
Our heated cabins are suitable for use year-round, even through the winter months, and can accommodate groups as large as 250. Several small units throughout our property feature a variety of scenery and living styles. Our unheated cabins have a rustic, open air camping quality. When combined with our heated facilities, we can accommodate groups up to about 400. Choose the accommodations that work best for your unique group!
Meals can be added to your conference, retreat or event and will be tailored to your specific needs. Enjoy a buffet service or a seated, family style meal. Our food service is participatory in that we will ask your group to help us set the tables and clean up in the dining hall after the meal, but we take care of the rest! Sit back and enjoy while we cook and wash up in the kitchen, and enjoy our full service coffee, tea and hot chocolate bar. Our kitchen can handle most special diet and allergy requests, and can customize to suit the needs of adult or youth groups of varying sizes and budgets.
Interested in cooking your own meals? Our Wrangler Retreat Center can accommodate groups up to 60 and includes a small commercial kitchen that is available to rent and use throughout your stay.
Activities can be added on for per-person fee and include canoeing, archery, bouldering wall, arts and crafts, or guided hikes through our forest trails, wetland loops, or along our beachfront property. Bring your school, sports team, club, or corporate office for team building on our low ropes challenge course, facilitated by the Camp Sealth staff.

Our Program Philosophy
Camp Fire was established with a strong foundation in providing positive outdoor experiences for youth and it is fundamental to our mission, core values, and programs. We believe in the power of nature to awaken a child’s senses, curiosity and desire to learn. With our completely inquiry-based program, our students are taught to study and evaluate the natural world. Through hands-on learning, they develop a deeper understanding of the scientific method and we hope – a curiosity and love for the environment.
Schools have been relying on Camp Sealth for their experiential education needs for more than 15 years and we welcome schools from all around the area each spring and fall including:
Schools can select from a wide variety of curriculum choices that meet Next Generation Science and Common Core State Standards. We offer classes in forest, wetland and marine ecosystems, sustainability and astronomy to name just a few! We also provide outdoor living skills classes as well as a team-building challenge course and traditional camp activities including archery, canoeing and arts classes.
Your curriculum choices, scheduling and activities are all completely customizable!
