ABOUT CAMP
雷鸟营地成立于1936年,坐落于Wylie湖边,坐拥1.7英里的卡罗莱纳州南部海岸线，为7-16岁的男孩女孩提供宿营经历。我们提供安全、专业的活动经历，提供给营员一生难忘的愉快经历。雷鸟YMCA营地80年来一直致力于培养孩子成为未来领袖，营地的传统理念与探险精神将会一直激励着营员的身心成长——引导着营员价值观的形成与技能的培养，鼓励着他们自行去选择未来生活的方向
Our overnight resident camp for boys and girls ages 7-16 offers plenty of fun in the sun on Lake Wylie and our 1.7 miles of pristine South Carolina shoreline. Since 1936, we've provided a safe, action-packed experience with the chance to make memories that last a lifetime.
When kids attend YMCA Camp Thunderbird, they join of a legacy of future leaders that dates back almost 80 years. Our traditions and adventures inspire our campers to grow mentally, physically, spiritually and socially -- molding their value and skills sets, helping shape their paths in life.

Camp Thunderbird is the ultimate water playground. Often, over half of our campers' waking hours are spent outside, exploring land and water excursions. We offer sports and activities like wakeboarding, knee boarding, tubing, swimming, skiing and much more. Our highly trained staff oversees a healthy and safe environment, making sure your kids are challenged and supported.

ACTIVITIES

Activities at Camp Thunderbird are designed to provide campers with an exciting, safe and enriching summer experience that is appropriate for their age, interests and abilities.
水上活动：水上游乐场，滑板，游船，油管，游泳，滑雪等更多活动。
陆地活动：我们会花超过一半的时间进行户外土地活动，雷鸟营地鼓励营员们挑战极限，实践团队合作。
附加活动：我们提供了更多新奇好玩的设备，让营员去学习新活动，有更多机会去自我挑战克服困难。
ON THE WATER: We offer the ultimate water playground, with sports and activities like wakeboarding, kneeboarding, tubing, swimming, skiing and much more.
ON LAND: Often, over half of their waking hours are spent outside. The freedom and exhilaration of zip lining or participating in other land activities encourages campers to challenge limits and practice teamwork and cooperation.
ADD-ONS: Add-ons provide even more opportunities to learn new skills. Thunderbird campers crave the rush of excellence – and these add-ons give more chances to receive just that.
